The Partnership
Park Distillery, located in Banff National Park, is known for its unique spirits and mountain-inspired cuisine. They launched 2 new gins to their family of spirits, Alpine Dry and Flora & Fauna, in the Summer of 2024 and aimed to increase product awareness among targeted audiences in Alberta.
The Campaign
MODERNSPEAK executed a targeted influencer campaign featuring nine creators from Calgary and Edmonton, including sommeliers and cocktail enthusiasts. The campaign strategically matched each influencer's audience with Park Distillery’s brand values, maximizing reach and engagement.
- 2 mid-tier creators with 70-350K followers and 7 micro-influencers with 10-50K followers
- 9 content creators were vetted from a list of 80+.

Collaboratively with Park Distillery, MODERNSPEAK sourced, vetted and negotiated deliverables and fees with creators for a content creation project and product seeding. We developed a content strategy that matched creators to the brand’s aesthetic, organized logistics and product delivery, and managed the campaign from start to finish. Tracking the campaign's effectiveness, we adjusted partway through to maximize the campaign's effectiveness and reach, providing a detailed report at the end of the project.
The Results
By collaborating with two mid-tier creators and 10 micro-influencers, we showcased the unique flavours of Park Distillery’s Alpine Dry Gin and Flora & Fauna Gin, creating a buzz among gin enthusiasts and beyond.
The results were impressive, with an organic reach of over 130K and 149K impressions and an engagement rate of over 12%. The brand amplified content with very little spend and saw a paid reach of over 102K and 269K impressions, proving the campaign a huge success and showcasing how influencer marketing can be used across the digital marketing mix, enhancing the ROI. This campaign achieved strong engagement and reach and generated high-quality user-generated content (UGC) for the brand's use. This content supported in-house marketing efforts, enhancing product promotion within Alberta.
Park Distillery has since identified influencer marketing as an essential component of its marketing strategy going forward.
